DESCRIPTION:Wednesdays 4th & 11th November 2026 9.30am – 1.30pm \nThe level 3 workshop is conducted over 2 days.  You must attend both days to receive your certificate. \nThe Level 3 Workshop concentrates on improving and developing signing and symbol skills. You will learn translation and interpretation skills using signs and symbols. Presentations examine the assessment of users’ needs\, adapting communication to suit an individual’s needs and how to develop communication skills. You will revise the signs and symbols you learned on the Level 1 and 2 Workshop and learn the signs and symbols for Stages 5 and 6 of the Core Vocabulary. \nThe Level 3 Workshop is made up of 2 modules and will be delivered over 2 days. Participants must have completed the Level 1 and 2 Workshop (or Foundation/Beginners’ Workshop.) You will receive a workshop manual which includes the Makaton symbols and signs that you learn in the workshop. You will also be given a certificate of attendance. Please remember to keep your Level 3 Workshop certificate in case you want to attend further Makaton training. \nCost: £90 per person online (includes participant manual and certificate)
